In my lifetime it has always been in my thoughts to be able to help others to help themselves. In helping others, we all get a gift in return. This gift is abundant in the rewards that we knowingly have been a part in someone else’s life. I feel that the charities that will benefit from the proceeds of this cookbook will be blest in a very special way. The charities which will be helped are: The Union Gospel Mission of Seattle, Washington, The Senior Lunch Program in Sierra Vista, AZ., the Primary Biliary Cirrhosis Foundation and The Ellensburg Food Bank (F.I.S.H.). I wish only to assist these charities so that they can help others and prosper more effectively. This is the main reason that I felt compelled to write the cookbook “TASTY TEMPTATIONS”. The book contains 500 recipes collected over the last 40 years from family and friends. Some of those recipes are creations which I accomplished myself. I am very hopeful that the book will be a successful endeavor. I know that God will guide me in this project so that I may donate as much money as is possible to the 4 charities I have chosen to help.

It has been quite a challenge to put this book together, but I am thankful that the project has come to an end and that it will do well for those who are less fortunate than I. This cookbook has been a long process. I have prayed about doing a cookbook for years and now that it has finally become a reality, I am thankful that God has kept my mind clear and my health good to finish it.
