I purchased this 1978 T Top Cutlass Supreme Brougham in November of 1986 from a man in Bellingham, Washington.

He was the second owner and the car had 99,000 miles on it.

It has a 260 V-8,and automatic transmission

Gen and I took our first road trip together in this car right after I bought it.

We drove from Ferndale, Washington to San Diego, to Las Vegas and back home in about a two week period.

Immediately after returning home, I replaced the transmission, and used the car as my main source of transportation for many years.

In 1999,(I think) and around 150,000 miles, I left the car with Mike Sankey (a mechanic friend) for the summer, and he put in a rebuilt engine for me. I also had the transmission rebuilt around the same time. I had new carpet and headliner installed, and the driver's seat recovered. The remaining upholstery, although a little faded, is still in good shape.

The paint is still original, and has the normal parking lot dings that you would expect for a car this old.

The seals under the T Tops are a bit worn, and will leak if left out in a heavy rain for more than a couple of hours, but generally doesn't leak while driving.

As of November,2005 the car has about 157,000 miles on it.

It's sort of been on the back burner since I bought the Goldwing in 2002, but it's always stored indoors.

In December,2005 I installed new control arm bushings, tie rod ends, front and rear coil springs, stabilizer bushings, rear shocks.

It now drives a whole lot better!

I have new weather seals for the doors and T Tops, and now need to get those installed.
