The fellow next to me is Caiphus Vilikaze, a South African import to one of the local high schools. I ended up beating him (or rather, my team did, I started with an advantage), running 4:26 for my 1600m leg. I was surprised. It was my first time under 4:30, and I expected Caiphus to win easily. 4/2/2006 - The Danbury Half Marthon. 4/2004 - Some photos from the NYRRC 8K. I considered myself "retired" as of summer 2002, but I was still running about 50 miles per week, and ran 25:00 for 8K in this one. 4/21/02 - Finish line photo from the Run for the Parks 4 miler.
