This is the second ecotec swap we have done. This swap like our first one we are taking a 2.2 3 speed auto cavalier, and installing a 2004 Ecotec 5speed.The first day we stripped down the donor car. We took everything out of this car. motor, tranny, tranny mounts, engine bay wiring, interior, dash, interior wiring, BCM, fuel tank, fuel lines. EVERYTHING!! You will see in the pictures what I mean.

This car was in a pretty bad wreck. The back wheels would barely roll.

Still some very useable parts on this car.

The interior was in perfect shape!!!!!

We decided to pull the motor with all wiring attached to the motor. We left everything on it. We even left the exhaust manifold attached. This will allow for easy install.

here is what it looked like once we got it hooked up to pull out of the car.

This was once we got it out of the car, and was ready to sit it on the ground.

This is Robert cutting the tranny mounts out of the donor car.

This is the front and rear tranny mounts after they were cut out of the donor car.

At the end of day one this was what was left. Actually less, all wiring inside the car was completely gone!

These are the fuel lines off the 2004 ecotec car.

Here is the gas tank out of the 2004 donor. This thing had plenty of gas as well. We will have to drain some before putting it in the 98 cavalier.

This the BCM out of the 2004 donor. It is a must have on this swap.

This is the dash wiring out of the donor car, with BCM attached.
