LindersWho are Penny and O. D. Linder?

We are genealogy researchers.  Genealogy was, and still is, our hobby, our passion and our addiction.  We spent all of our free time for 40-50 years traveling, researching, and collecting all kinds of genealogical material on several families.  We visited major genealogical depositories; court houses, city and state libraries, various state archives, historical societies, The Library of Congress, National Archives (General Service Administration), Salt Lake City, Utah; anywhere we could find genealogical data deposited.

We conducted our research in authentic and authoritative genealogy sources and depositories.  The information in our books was not taken from telephone books and it was not taken from the Internet.

After our travels we compiled and published several books from the data we had collected.

Our customers have all praised these books very highly and have given us many thanks for publishing the books and making the information available to others.  Here is a short sampling of some of the many comments we have received about our ‘The Dever and Related Families’ and our ‘The Gibson and Related Families’ books.  Many comments have been received also on our other Family Histories and our Family Records books.  It would take too much space here to tell you about all the great praises we have had.

  • “Thank you for your book ‘The Gibson and Related Families.’  You and Mrs. Linder did an excellent job.”
  • “Thank you for such a fabulous book.  The world needs more people like you and your wife in it.”
  • “Your book on the Gibson families is a great job and you are to be commended on your research and in publishing it.”
  • “The Research you put into ‘The Gibson and Related Families’ book is worthy of a Ph.D. and the way you have it organized is excellent.”
  • “Thank you for making the history of our family available.  Please send 4 copies to me.”
  • “Thank you for all the hard work, time and energy you put into making this book, a very fine job indeed.”
  • “Love the book!  Well done.   I’m telling other Deaver researchers about it.”
  • “The book is the most detailed I have ever seen.  It is well worth the price.  I had thought before that Dever and Deaver were not related names.  At least I was told that by a genealogist at the Chicago Historical Society in 1985.  Your superb research has dispelled that belief.”
  • “I have the book ‘The Dever and Related Families’ searched and written by Penny and O. D. Linder.  The book is full of reference material specifically on many of the Dever, Deaver lines.  For years I read about the Linder’s Dever, Deaver research and am happy to have this culmination of their excellent and diligent research.  I recommend it highly to all who are interested in the Deaver, Dever ancestry.”
  • “Thank you for the opportunity to purchase your books.”
  • “Congratulations.  You two have put in a long and hard labor to complete the project.  I want five copies.  Send two to me and three to (another address).”
  • “I have been reading and studying your Book and you sure covered lots of the Deavers.  I know it took lots of time.  Thanks for all your research.”

FAMILY HISTORY AND GENEALOGY PUBLICATIONS

by

O. D. and Penny Linder

The families in our Family History Publications are arranged in generational lines.  These books are full of genealogical data about these families and many of their related families.  Some of the Related Families in our books have Special Sections devoted to them.

Their lives and stories are told with texts, pictures, maps, documents, illustrations and other things.  In these books you will have ancestors and descendants arranged in generational lines, relatives, marriages, births, deaths, stories, facts, events about them and many other things, including brief histories of the areas where they lived.  These books are true genealogical publications.

Our easy to follow numbering style makes it easy to trace backward and forward to connect ancestors and descendants.

All these things tell us what interesting ancestors and relatives we have.

The information in our books is well documented and proven by bible records, church records, land records and other court records, history books, genealogy books and other records found in Major and Minor Depositories during our many years of traveling on genealogy research trips to various parts of the country doing research.

We conducted our research in authentic and authoritative genealogy sources and depositories.  The information was not taken from telephone books and it was not taken from the Internet.

The type of information and how the families are arranged in generational lines in our books are illustrated on the individual book pages.

FAMILY RECORD SERIES PUBLICATIONS:

by

Penny Linder

Each volume in our Family Records Series is devoted to persons with the surname indicated.  Some of the records include their Related Families.

We conducted our research in several authentic and authoritative genealogy sources and depositories that gave data on persons with the Surname the book is about, including, but not limited to, history books, genealogy books (many now out of print and hard to find), court house records, immigration records, parish/church records and many other sources.  The information in these books was not taken from telephone books and it was not taken from the Internet.

These are excellent books.  They were compiled after we traveled on our many genealogy research trips to depositories in many different areas.  They are a valuable research tool for anyone interested in knowing more about their surname, and about others who had this surname.  It is often more productive and interesting if you go beyond your immediate family tree.

They contain the type of information that is needed to help fill in the blanks on family charts and pedigrees or to form new generations.  Our Family Records books include many things to expand your knowledge of these families and some of their related families. The books are completely indexed.

The type of information in our book is illustrated on the individual book pages.

The Christian names in our books are illustrated on the individual book pages.

Other Families in our books are listed on the individual book pages.
