Linder BookTHE LINDER FAMILY

The Linder Family book documents several Linder families who lived in the mountain village of Meiringen in the years 1500-1800rds, and several Linder families who lived in the village of Brienz, on the shores of Lake of Brienz, during the years 1600-1900rds.  Both villages were in the Canton of Bern, Switzerland.  Several of their Related Families are included in our book.

Our book continues with some of these families who came to America and Canada, starting in 1800rds, and we bring most of these up to the present time.  In America they were famous for their Swiss Cheese making skills.  In Canada they were famous on the Rodeo Circuit and won many awards.

Our book has the families arranged in generational lines, with a numbering style that makes it easy to trace backward and forward to connect ancestors and descendants.  Their lives and stories are told with text, pictures, maps and illustrations.  We have included brief histories of the places where they lived.  Also in our book is information about the origin of the Linder surname, and about several places named after members of the Linder families.  Plus several other things.

The Linder Family book has 211 pages size 5 ½ X 8 ½ and is bound in a blue and silver hard cover binding.  This is an excellent book.  We conducted our research in authoritative and authentic genealogy records and depositories, including Salt Lake City, Utah.  The information was not taken from telephone books and it was not taken from the Internet.
