Quick and Accurate Polar Alignment
because Meade's instructions are a joke.  And you
wondered why you couldn't find anything with the setting circles.

Fork Arm/Optical Tube Alignment
Polar aligned and still can't find anything?  It could be that your RA and
dec axes aren't perpendicular.  This is a badly overlooked problem which
causes significant pointing (and tracking) errors.  The forkarms and optical
tube are frequently not aligned properly at the factory.  Here's how to fix it.
