Commissioning
a painting is an
exciting process for both owner and artist.
Perhaps you’ve had an image in your
mind’s eye for years and want finally to see it on a wall of your home or
office. Maybe you’ve seen a piece of my work that really speaks to you and
would like to personalize it for your very own or are looking for the most
original of gifts. Whichever the reason, we begin with a concept and some
creative conversation, and work together to create something that is fabulously
personal and unique!
Because I charge
roughly by the hour for this type of work, I will not list hard prices here. I
can say in general that an 11x14” detailed color painting with elements of
realism is between $150 and $250, and a
larger 16x20” or 18x24” between $300 and $400. Smaller of course, is less.
However, once we agree on the details of your commissioned piece, I will be
able to give you an exact price.
I will
send you an agreement stating the details of the piece, price and delivery
information to sign and return to me with payment of half the value of the
painting. I will keep you updated on the progress of the piece, and again will
email photos of the completed painting for your approval before final payment
and shipping.

clients who have had me create art for them and who would be happy to
