Special Thanks To:

I wanted to take a minute to thank a few people that have helped me along the way so far. My journey is no where near over and I'm sure I'll add to this list as time goes on.

First off a big THANK YOU to Richard Carlson (REC)! I met REC a few years ago while standing in line at Lowe's. His wonderful wife Maggie noticed I was buying a cheapo pump for my 700 gallon pond and struck up a conversation with me. We got to talking about ponds and koi and the rest is history. Without REC I would have killed my koi several times over. He has always been there to bail me out and point me in the right direction and doesn't get too mad at me when I stupidly ignore his advice so for that thank you very much!

Next up is Bill at Mystic Koi and Water Gardens. While traversing the koi boards one night he noticed that I to have a great fondness for Chevelles and sent me an email as it was kind of odd to run across someone that not only keeps koi but also owns Chevelles. After that email we started IMing each other and while he learned a lot more about his Chevelle I learned a lot more about koi and building koi ponds and filtration. We have become good friends and I look forward to many more years of friendship. So THANK YOU Bill!

While surfing Koiphen they decided to have a grow out contest. Not one to turn down a cheaply priced Momotaro kohaku I jumped all over it. Joe(keokoi) was the person taking care of the kohakus purchasing and delivering. We have been IMing back and forth since. Joe has taught me a lot about the Zen of koi keeping and showing. And while he won't tell me all his secrets the ones he has told me have been very useful. So THANKS Joe!

Last but not least my wonderful family. They have dug ponds with me, gone to shows with me, bought koi with me, buried koi with me and basically put up with my obsession without complaint. So thanks to Carolina, Joanna and Jimmy! Without your support I'd have some goldfish in a 10 gallon tank.
