The Eastern Colonial Trading Company is the result of a lifelong
ambition of James Bailey and William Carter. The idea became reality
in January 2001, when renovation on the store actually began. Significant
progress has been made since that time and thanks to the help of
a lot of friends, we opened for business in April of 2001.
We offer an extensive product line of muzzleloading supplies to
include rifles, pistols, powder horns, clothing, leather products,
shooting supplies, literature, tinware, and other accoutrements.
Wanting to adhere as much as possible to having an ample supply
of quality, period correct goods, we have been fortunate in having
over a dozen craftsmen supply us with handmade goods.
We are located less than an hour's drive from Raleigh, North Carolina
on NC Hwy 42, just west of Fuquay-Varina. Should you live in North
Carolina, visiting friends and relatives, or just passing through,
stop by for a visit. You'll be glad you did. Hot coffee in the winter,
and iced tea in the summer, plus some good southern hospitality
is the order of the day. We also make frequent appearances at shoots
and events along the East coast. Please check our Event schedule
to see if we will be at an event near you.
