| Research Objective |
My research is
concerned with the development of techniques for digital image analysis.
My primary focus is on the use of multiscale and multiresolution image
representations created by morphological and other nonlinear filtering
methods. Applications include 2D, 3D, and multispectral image segmentation,
machine vision, and video target tracking for biomedical research
automation.

Work Experience
2002-2007
|
Molecular Devices Downingtown, Pennsylvania Senior Software Developer, 2005-2007 Software Developer, 2002-2004 Team leader for imaging application module development. Developed modular image analysis software for automated microscopy for use in biological research and high content drug discovery screening. Designed and implemented algorithms and user interfaces for image processing, segmentation, and 3D visualization for the MetaMorph and MetaXpress software products. Implemented a suite of mathematical morphology tools for advanced image processing, OpenGL-based 3D isosurface rendering, and computational geometry for 3D object measurement. Additional responsibilities as a resource for advanced customer support and as an instructor for numerous customer and sales product training seminars/presentations. |
