The purpose of the Spring Golf Classic is to raise funds to benefit a needy and worthy charitable organization wile presenting a fun time atmosphere where Kiwanis, Abington Educational Foundation members, friends, business associates, family members and the public can enjoy the sport of golf.
(Cost $150 per golfer)

The Glenside Kiwanis Club sponsors:

Builders Club - The Builders club at the Abington Junior High School . This program emphasizes the need to serve the school and community, develop leadership traits, and build a positive future for themselves. Club membership exceeds 200 students.

Key Club - The Key Club at Abington High School . With over 200 members this is the largest club in the high school. Its objectives is the development of initiative, leadership ability, and good citizenship practices and service to the community.

AKtion Club - The AKtion Club at the Abington Library. This is a community service club for adults living with a disability. The club has over 25 members . The motto for Aktion Club is “Development has no Disability”.

K-Kids - K-Kids at the McKinley Elementary school was formed in 2000. The K-Kids at Rydal East Elementary was formed in 2001 and a Copper Beach K-Kids was organized in 2003.

Circle K - Circle K at LaSalle University is a collegiate service organization committed d to service on campus and in the community.
