Mike and Caroline's '89 Mustang Transformation

Here is the start of the '89 Mustang buildup.

Quick Summary
The history of this car starts out very mundane as it was Caroline's daily driver since new in '89. Caroline married my
buddy Mike in April '91 and she drove the 'Stang to work at the same place ever since. Since they live close to where they
work, the Ford only has 99k miles on it. Late 2004, they bought an '04 GT for her to replace her slowly deteriorating '89.
The poor little '89 was relegated to the back yard where it sat...

...'til now. Mike had the machine shop that built my 455 build him a ripping badass stroker 347. It has AFR 205 aluminum
heads, Crane roller cam, Crane full roller valvetrain, Edelbrock RPM Air Gap intake an AEG worked Holley 750 double pumper.
Kooks headers, a 3" true dual exhaust with X-pipe rounds out the build. It should be a real traction problem. He acquired a low
mileage AOD and we put in a new valve body, a one piece hardened input shaft and 3000rpm torque converter. He got an 8.8"
rear with 3.55:1 gears from an '89 GT. He bought new rear control arms, springs and Bilstein shocks. He also bought new Bilstein
front struts, springs and camber/caster plates. New bigger rotors and spindles round out the suspension stuff. So far, we have
installed the rear and the rear suspension stuff. We have also finished the front suspension and put the engine and tranny in to make sure
that the headers fit without problem (some K-member grinding was necessary). The headers have come back from Jet Hot with a nice ceramic coating.
We are starting to put the car back together and the engine accessories and wiring will be finished soon. See below for pics...
