Too cool to get wet.

I was hanging out in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, again and had noticed that they had just filled the fountains since i was there last. The fountains are on both sides of the steps. The day i took this photo [23 August 2002] there was a group working out on the steps and about the grounds with a drill instructor again, a number of people sporadically running up and down the steps and traffic going by below on a 5 lane road. This time it was after 7 a.m. and much busier than when i took the Historic Building photo. I took a chance and took a couple photos. I watched the lights below so as not to be in full view of cars waiting for a light to change. People in moving cars are less likely to see you than those who are bored waiting for a light. I wanted to include some of the step runners, but the timing wasn’t right. So i just gave up on that idea and took it straight on. It was nice to see the sunlight and be really naked where i might be seen. Believe it or not, i had taken a photo of myself there way back in 1983 when i still had a full head of hair. I had also gone right into the fountain back then when it was really hot. Of course i was nude. If you’d like to see that old photo click here. Remember, it was scanned from a cheap Polaroid which is only 3x3 inches; so it’s not that sharp. It was the same fountain, but on the top level of the fountain, which wasn't filled with water when i took the photo above. It only goes to show that i am not new to naked dares photography.

Take care & stay bare,

Joey Blue
