Early morning just before the sun rose.

I took this in the early morning of August 27, 2002 just before the sun rose, but i still had to watch out for cars and early morning joggers/bicyclists. It’s along a joggers’/bicyclists’ path with a road along side and a few other roads running in other directions heading by and towards this place. It was tough getting the light correct, because the sign itself is electronically lit from within. Actually i don’t think anyone saw me take the photo even though i did use a fill flash. This sign has two sides and is V shaped in almost a 90º angle. It has enough space behind it to park my bicycle and hide quite easily without being seen by anyone.

I did take the opportunity to use this location to actually streak along the running path two times when i saw cars driving up along side the running path, when i knew none of the cars were police cruisers. I have included this small daylight shot of the area with the sign in the photo so you can see at least some of the layout.
The layout of the sign I could see from behind the sign the traffic-light where cars were waiting and could see no police cars around. When i knew the traffic-light was about to change, i would dash out a bit to the left side of the sign and just jog on the running path, just on the other side of those trees, as the cars passed by. I waved to them as i ran. I then even got the nerve to sneak my way in the dark totally naked [see the rocks?]. I kept close to the rocks where the street lights don’t shine so brightly and i had to hide behind a couple trees a couple times as cars passed by. I made it up to the left way past the car in the photo [on the left] and hid behind a statue base. When i saw two other jogger go by i darted out and followed them [if they only knew (-; ], again as a few cars were passing by. The sun was just rising by then. I know the other joggers didn’t look back, but the cars could see us all running on the pathway. I waved at them again. And then, as i got to the sign i hid behind it where my bicycle was hidden. I love to find places to safely streak on occasion. It’s even more of a rush than taking the Dare Photos. I knew after the two streaks it was time to get out of there.

Take care & stay bare,
