Beautiful & Historic Valley Forge National Park
I was rode my bicycle out to Valley Forge
National park here in Philadelphia. I took this the same day i took the Power Dare. It was
right next to one of the simulated log cabins that are built out in the park. This is where
George Washington had his troops from the fall of 1777 thru the spring of 1778 during the
Revolutionary war against Great Britain. This hill was a great place to take the Hill Dare.
Beyond that tree on the left was a road [that went from the far left to the far right] where i
saw a few cars and bicyclists go by. I would crouch down so that they might not spot me, or
at least not know that i was nude. I was taken by surprise by one jogger who ran by, but i
don’t think he noticed me standing up there. I was completely nude up there for several
minutes. I’m sorry the photo isn’t better than it is. Contrast in sunny areas and shady areas
are hard to capture sometimes.
I moved on to another area with a really busy road and more cabins to hide my bicycle behind.
I tried to do a photo along side the road with the cars going by. Oh man, timing is everything.
Cars and trucks are coming by and you have that 10 second timer to deal with. I actually got
naked for one shot and an elderly woman drove by looking right at me in shock. Then i was able
to take a completely nude hike thru a wooded area of the park for almost 20 minutes. It must
have been close to 90º F/32.2ºC. I was hot and sweaty and if i did meet someone i would use
the heat as an excuse, at least in my mind. (-: Actually getting my shorts off did cool me off
a bit. I had hidden my shorts at the edge of the woods. When I headed back to my bike, I
didn’t put my shorts on but carried them back up to where my bike was locked thru an open
grassy field. I was in view of the road at a distance in broad daylight, but the drivers were
moving very fast, so i doubt they noticed me. Then as if from no where, i saw two male
tourists heading toward the cabins where i had my bike. I’m sure one of them saw me. He was
looking right at me. I decided to put my shorts on, unlock my bike and get out of there in
a hurry. I did get to skinny dip three times on my way home travelling along the Schuylkill
River. It sure was refreshing. I rode 38 miles that day.
