Time for a dip:

This was one of the last really warm days that i could actually skinny dip without being a member of the ‘Polar Bear Club’. (-: My friend Tim and i were riding our bicycles around the park on the jogging/skating/bicycling path for some exercise and sun on this warm October 2nd day in 2002. I got heated up enough to want to take a quick dip and Tim took a nice photo of me entering the cool water. No one could see us from our side of the river, but if you look at the insert in the upper left side of the photo, you can see a jogger (in red) running by on the jogging/skating/bicycling path on the other side of the river. We could see the runners pretty clearly, so i assume they could see us as well. I also had to watch out for regatta boats going by. Some have lone rowers and some have multiple rowers. Of course when i am in the water they can only see my head as they row by. Teams and individuals from the local colleges and high schools all practice their rowing on the river almost every day. You just need to time it right to get out of the water and dry off in between groups of rowers.

My birthday is on 1 February 2003, two days from this posting. I thought, as it is traditional to receive one whack on one’s bottom on one’s birthday for every year one has lived, i would submit my Bottom Dare at this appropriate time. Hehehe! By the way, if anyone could catch me, i should be getting 49 whacks this year. I don’t feel 49.

Taken the same day as the Graffiti Dare.

Take care & stay bare,

Joey Blue
