So there is a new rising star in the family. Alex had his very first soccer game on Saturday. During his first shift he had been in about 30 seconds when he scored his first goal. He wasn't quite sure how to react as we had been talking to him and his sister lately about what it means to be a good sport (win or lose). He was happy but didn't want to rub it in the other team faces so was fairly subdued. I believe Alex had four (maybe five) shifts in all and ended up scoring six goals! Although they don't keep score, I believe the final was 9-4. He scored at least once every time he was in the game. It just might be time to get him some cleats! This photo is a picture of Alex racing down to his very first goal!  This is just a photo that ended up looking pretty nice.
