New Look | |

I got bored of the old look and feel of the blog after almost 9 months so I've made some changes. I can't say that I'm done but it is far enough along that I'm comfortable making the change now. Let me know if there is anything you don't like and I will consider changing it. Time to brave the elements and heading to Target to get some necessary evils and maybe even some x-mas shopping. Duct Tape Can Fix Everything | |

A few weeks back my son got new shoes and developed a blister on his big toe for some reason. Anyways, a couple of weeks later I was helping him get his socks on and discovered it had turned much worse. I did not notice this sooner because he normally gets dressed by himself. We took him to the doctor the next day and the doctor said it was a Planters (?) wart and there were four different options for treating it.
The last option I had read about recently and the doctor indicated that new studies show this as an effective treatment. As we did not want this to last forever, cost much, or hurt our son, we decided for the duct tape option. I'm pleased to report after just one week of duct tape on the wart it is now gone! Who would've thunk? |
