Notes on Win32 port of MINIMOS6
1) Use the MINIMOS batch file (bin\minimos.bat) to run MINIMOS, as it sets up things that the MINIMOS executable needs to run. The MINIMOS batch file must be edited to set the variable "mini_dir" to the location of where your unpacked the software on your local machine
2) Although this is a Win32 port, the program itself is not very Windows "aware". It is best run from a shell window (called an MSDOS window on Win95/98/Me or a command window on Win2000) where you can give it command line parameters for the input and output files. To get at the command window from Win2000, use Start->Programs->Accessories->Command Prompt.
3) If you get the message "Out of environment space" when running the minimos.bat file from a command shell window, you should increase the memory allocated to the environment (Under Win95/98/Me: from the window, click on the properties icon, memory tab, initial environment).
