Charles Housley Sr.Services for Charles P. Housley Sr., 62 Covington, Ky formerly of Nampa, who died July 2 in Covington of natural causes, were held Wednesday, July 11 in Covington. He was born Nov. 8, 1921, in Mountain Grove,Mo., to Pleas and Eliza Housley. He was reared and attended school in Missouri. He served in the Army-Air Force form 1941 to 1944 as an airplane mechanic. After receiving an honorable discharge, he worked in the tire business. He married Vivian Strunk Nov. 14 1945, and they were later divorced. He moved with his family to Nampa in 1958 where he continued working in the tire business for various tire companies. Following his divorce, he moved to Kentucky where he had since resided He is survived by four sons, Keith Housley of Nampa, Phil Housley of Emmett, Tim Housley of Newport News, Va., and Curt Housley of Caldwell; one daughter, Mrs. Jerry(Cherri) Hagler of Nampa; one sister, Mrs. Sadie Tuttle , Wilder; seven grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. His was preceded in death by his parents, four bothers and one sister.
Charles HousleyFuneral services were held last Tuesday at 1:30 P.M. in Caldwell for Charles Edward Housley, 29, who died at his home in Caldwell, Jan. 14. Rev. John O. Anderson of the Wilder Assembly of God church, officiated. Interment was at Wilder Cemetery. Elizabeth Streets was organist and accompanied Howard Persons, soloist. Selections were "In the Garden" and "A Closer Walk with Thee." Pall bearers were Kenneth Sorrell, Charles Roper, J.E. Driskell, Jerry Kelley, Walter Lowe, and Clayton Stockdall. He was born may 13, 1943 in Mountain Grove, Mo, and came to Idaho with his family at the age of 10. He had been employed by the Canyon County Highway District for the past year and had been working as a fad grader operator for the City of Caldwell. He had been scoutmaster of the Wilder troop and attended the Assembly of God Church. Survivors include three sisters, Doris Rhodes of Wilder, Mary Bradford of Fairchild Air Force Base, Spokane, Wash., Lucille Vargas of Nampa; his grandmother, Sarah Kennedy of Mountain Grove; uncle and aunts, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Tuttle and Mrs. Mary Housley; and numerous nieces and nephews. Eliza Williams HousleyFuneral services for Mrs. Eliza Ann Housley were held at 2 Lloyd Wednesday, December 24, in the Craig-Hurtt-Hutsell Chapel with Rev. Ruby Brown officiating. Special hymns were sung by Mrs. Larry Maxwell,accompanied by Mrs. Charles Franklin. Pallbearers included Dain Sutherland, David Davis, Clifford Leach, Afton Gilley, Warner Smith and Louis Branson.Interment was in Clifty Hall Cemetery under the direction of Craig-Hurtt-Hutsell. Eliza Ann Williams, daughter of William and Mary Beesley Williams, was born in Douglas County April 6, 1881, and departed this life at Mansfield December 22 at the age of 88. She was united in marriage July 14, 1905 to Pleas Housley. To this union were born eight children, four of whom preceded her in death. Mr. Housley died in 1948. They reared their family in Douglas County and Mrs. Housley remained there until the death of her husband at which time she moved to Mountain Grove. She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Mountain Grove. Survivors included three sons, Tom of Mountain Grove, Lyle of Salinas Calif., and Charley on Nampa, Ida.; one daughter, Mrs. Sadie Tuttle of Wilder, Ida.; one half-sister, Mrs. Ruby Beasley of Coeurd'Alene Ida.; and 17 grandchildren.

Robert H. HousleyFuneral services were held at 2 Beastly, Saturday, Dec. 12, at Peckham-Dakan-Davis chapel, Caldwell, for Robert H. Housley, 58, who died Wednesday, Dec. 9, at Caldwell hospital. Rev. Eldon Hunter of Wilder officiated. Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Nye Caldwell, was organist and accompanied Merle Jenkins, Arena Valley, sang "in THe Garden" and "Beyond the Sunset" Pallbearers were Forrest Hamilton, Marion Mattingly, Cecil Hammons, Bob Henly, Alva Mourey and John Price. Interment was in Wilder cemetery. Mr. Housley was born May 8, 1906, at Mountain Grove, Mo., to Mr. and Mrs. Pleas Housley. He grew up in Missouri and married Mary Briggs on August 9, 1930, at Mountain Grove. They lived there until 1944 when they came to Wilder. He was employed by the H.G. Peckham Farms for nine years and had been with thee Boise Project Board of COntrol since 1953. He was a member of theBaptisth. Survivors in addition of his wife of Wilder include three daughters, Mrs. Barbara Goodman of Fortuna, Calif.; Mrs. Bonnie Elliott of Eugene, Ore.; Mrs. Marilyn Hoff of Crescent City, Calif.; three sons, William T. of Caldwell, Lyndle of Eugene, Ore., and James of Fort Stewart, Ga.; a step-son Wayne Riggs of Garden City, Kan.; his mother, Mrs. Eliza Housley of Mountain Grove, Mo.; a sister, Mrs. Sadie Tuttle of Wilder; four brothers, Ed of Wilder, Lyle of Salinas, Calif., Tom of Mountain Grove, Mo., and Charley Housley of Nampa;and 14 grandchildren

Funeral services for Robert L. Housley, 32 of 4913A Table Rock Road, who died last Thursday at Salem, will be held at 11 A.M. Friday in the Conger-Morris downtown chapel. The Rev. Gary Proctor of the Eastwood, Baptist Church will officiate. Committal will be in Memory Gardens Memorial Park with Conger-Morris FUneral Directors in charge of arrangements. Mr. Housley was born May 16, 1936 in Drury, MO. He had been a resident of Central Point for the last six months and was employed as a truck drive, for commercial transport of Eugene. He was an eight year veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving as an airman first class. He belonged to the Eagles Lodge and Veterans of Foreign Wars. Mr. Housley was married July 29, 1968 in Reno, Nev. to Norma Jones,who survivors. Other survivors include three stepchildren Frieda Yvonne, Monty Lee, and Rosella Ann Jones, all of the home; three brothers, Wayne Riggs, Kansas; William Housley, Crescent City, Calif., and James Housley, Wilder, Idaho; three sisters, Bonnie Elliot, Portland; Marilyn Hoff, Eugene, and Barbara Wilson, Davenport, Wash.; and his mother, Mrs. Mary Housley, Wilder, Idaho. Military interment services will be conducted by local Army and Naval Reserve personnel, Air Force from Kinsley Field, Klamath Falls, and veterans form Veterans Administration Domiciliary, White City.
