She is gone but not forgotten,
Memories of her linger on,
She was an unforgettable character
Like the words in a beautiful song.

Her influence has affected many people
She had friends; too many to count
She was a wonderful sister, a pal and a friend,
One upon whom I could always depend.

She has gone to a better world
She wouldn't want us to shed tears
We will look forward to seeing her again someday;
And be thankful for the years she was here.

She taught scores of people
And served thousands in many ways,
Her principles, her thoughts, her responsible
nature and determination
Were living seeds planted every day.

So we should rejoice while she is gone,
That she was here so long
And not grieve and be sad; but just recall
The glorious companionship we had,
And thank God for it all.
