Liberal Agenda

A Day in the Life of Liberals

Now that the liberals think they have the presidency and congress wrapped up, they're coming out of the wood work with wild hair-brained schemes to tax us, spend our money, and generally take control of our lives.  The fool Bush is not helping matters any.  He and his gang of keystone cops are inventing new and increasingly unconstitutional ways of spending our tax dollars.

In just one day alone (October 24th) there were four different ideas that push the limits of liberty and personal freedom:

1.)  The idiot Barney Franks said that we had to forget about being afraid of deficit spending, and that he wanted to cut defense spending by 25%.  What?  We'll become a third rate, Euro-socialist power, with China as the single world superpower.  Franks and his idiots will control the newly created class of Americans who are totally dependent on the government for food, shelter, and support.  A good way to create a power base, don't you think?

2.)  A liberal econ professor (Teresa Ghilarducci ) presented a plan before house dems to stop tax breaks for 401K savings plans.  She said that tax breaks were a waste of $80B of government money.  Government money?  I thought that was OUR money.  Further, she proposed a mandatory savings plan, where the government will take 5% of our paycheck, and give it to the Social Security administration to manage.  What?  As if they've done such a stellar job with our payroll taxes!   I thought Social Security already was a mandatory retirement savings plan!   Now, realizing they've spent all our money, they come up with a new "plan" to reach deeper in our pockets under the guise of helping us save.   The democrats who heard this plan, thought it was intriguing, and was a definite possiblity in an Obama administration.

3.)  The congressional delegation from Michigan proposed that we use tax dollars to help people buy cars!  What?  Use our tax money to help people buy cars?  They claim there are too many struggling people who can't afford cars, or get loans.  So what!  So save your money, buy a hoopdy, a bicycle, or walk.  We, the people, do not need to provide automobiles as a social program.  Besides, bicycles will reduce our "carbon footprint".

4.)  The fool Bush and his stooge Paulson announced that in addition to buying stock in banks with our money, they would also like to buy stock in insurance companies.  What?   I thought the whole economy was going to collapse if they didn't get $700B to buy toxic debt.  They didn't do it, and the economy didn't collapse.  But now, with $700B to blow, why not buy stock.  Maybe they can open the worlds largest e-Trade account, and try day trading our money!

Fellow Americans, we are in deep trouble.  The government is rushing headlong towards socialism, and they'll have no checks or balances with a democratic executive and legislative branch.  Where is the ACLU defending our personal liberties?  They will defend terrorists against wire tapping, or provide an army of lawyers if someone prays in school, but they're noticeably absent from this struggle, while our constitutional rights are being destroyed.  If we, the people do not stop this NOW, we will lose our entire way of life.   Our future can be one of constitutional government, or perpetual socialistic poverty.  Never have I seen the face of our society changed so quickly, so dramatically, and by so few.  The voters must decide.  May God help us all.
