Resolutions Check-in
Time to check in and remind myself of my resolutions. How am I doing? Here's how I would rate them.
- eat less meat
A: I haven't cut it out, but I am definitely more thoughtful about the meat I do eat. - get involved:
F: no progress... I better get started. - save and invest:
B: made some good progress here. - take a photo every day
A: This has been fun. - exercise a little more
A: Extra points for my marathon training. I'm not in peak physical shape, but I feel pretty good. - drink a little less
C: Doing OK overall, but my "Springtime Feeling" night was a black mark on my record. :) - make more time for family, friends and fun
D: I was hoping to do more. - slow down
C: so little time! - stop taking it all so seriously
C-: this list proves it!
A Photo A Day
Five months in and I have done pretty well on my Photo a Day project. Granted, it is not high art, but it is a nice way to remember the days. I like it better than a journal. Looking back at the images reminds me of each day of the year and what I was doing, not always in a specific way, but in a general way -- how things looked and smelled and how I felt and where I was.
