So this is the vanity publishing page. But after all, this was one of my main objectives in running this website ... I had several sequences that didn't fit on other websites. So here they are ... The MIDI sequences are grouped by genre, though many are hard to categorize. But then, so goes my taste in music.

All of the MIDI files were sequenced for the Ensoniq Soundscape Elite soundcard. Further details on the technical side of the music can be found on the means of production page.

The Furry Day Carol - an English May Day carol, probably dating back to the 16th century. This electrified arrangement follows the style of the British folk-rock bands of the 60s, such as Fairport Convention and Steeleye Span. (1999)

On the Shores of Loch Ness - a neo-psychedelic instrumental based on some traditional Celtic tunes. The main theme begins with a storm over the Loch. Then the storm dissipates, and a mist settles over the ripples in the water, which suggest a large form moving just beneath the surface. There is a break in the clouds, and a lone ray of sunlight shines down upon the Loch. And the monster takes the spotlight, equipped with straw hat and cane, to dance a strathspey. Then the main theme returns, as another storm moves in. (1999)
