Color Guard at Jackson Statue on Manassas Battlefield
On May 25, the 5th Brigade Color Guard marches into the Fredericksburg Confederate Cemetery during the Memorial Day Ceremony to present the colors for this event.
On June 6, the 5th Brigade Color Guard had the honor of presenting the colors at the Jefferson Davis Birthday Celebration in Culpeper. This event was hosted by the Culpeper Chapter UDC.
On July 18, the 5th Brigade Color Guard had the honor of presenting the colors on the Manassas Battlefield. This event was hosted by the Virginia Division UDC.

Color Guard at Hollywood Cemetery in Richmond
The 5th Brigade Color Guard practiced their maneuvers on the Manassas Battlefield prior to the ceremony.
Four camp members received their membership certificates (Lerie, Travis, and Chris Taylor as well as Dennis Williams). Compatriot David Bailey passed out programs.
On September 20, the 5th Brigade Color Guard presented the colors at Hollywood Cemetery in Richmond, VA during the stone dedication for Sgt. John D. Clopton, Co. E, 19th Miss Infantry.

On September 26, the 5th Brigade Color Guard marched in the Warrenton-Fauquier Heritage Day Parade.
After the parade, camp members enjoyed a little lunch and comeraderie at Molly's Irish Pub in Warrenton. Pictured above are Robert Silvrants and his father, Rick.

2 new members of the Lacy Camp
On October 17, the 5th Brigade Color Guard presented the colors at the Spring Hill Cemetery in Lynchburg at the Memorial Service for General James Dearing. This was the first event for Compatriot John Wright. Well done gentlemen!
After the ceremony, the entire group gathered in front of the General Dearing monument for this photo. Refreshments were then enjoyed by all.
On October 20, we had the honor of swearing in our two latest members. Welcome to the Rev. Lacy Camp! (L-R) Jamie Revis, Robert Wood, Jack Roberts, and John Sawyer.
