The South Was Right by James R. Kennedy and Walter D. Kennedy - This is the book they don't want you to read. Clear and concise defense of Southern secession.

The South Under Siege 1830-2000: The History of the Relations Between the North and the South by Frank Conner. The author identifies the real history of each region and the lies and distortions by which the Northern liberals have created total false stereotypes of both the Northern liberal and traditional white Southerner. It tells what the government has done prior to, and following, the federal victory and what the consequences have been.

When in the Course of Human Events: Arguing the Case for Southern Secession by Charles Adams. A Northern author defines and examines the constitutional right that the Southern States acted upon.

The Real Lincoln: A New Look at Abraham Lincoln, His Agenda, and an Unnecessary War by Thomas DeLorenzo. This reveals a side of Lincoln that you were probably never taught and helps explain the origins of a bloody and totally unnecessary war.
