April 24, 2010, some of our members attended
the 5th District Conference at Mathews Yacht Club, Mathews, VA. (L-R)

On
May 31, 2010, members of the Fredericksburg Chapter UDC attended
the Ladies Auxilary Memorial Ceremony in the Fredericksburg Confederate
Cemetery. (L-R) Janet Sullivan, Barbara Crookshank, Shawn Martin.
The
children circled around the monument in the Fredericksburg Confederate
Cemetery and dropped rose petals at the base in remembrance of our
Confederate heroes.
The
Fredericksburg Chapter was very busy during the Memorial Day Weekend. This
ceremony was held in the Spotsylvania Confederate Cemetery.
Our
guest speaker for this event was Patricia Walenista. (L-R) Pat Walenista,
Ann Sawyer, Sandy Wright, Shawn Martin, and Jackie Descaro.
Continuing
to remember the Confederate Veterans during the Memorial Day Weekend,
chapter members attended a ceremony in the Fredericksburg Confederate
Cemetery.
Chapter
members set up the luminary bags and candles in preparation for this
evening event.

On
September 20, 2010, members of the Fredericksburg Chapter UDC attended
a grave marking ceremony in remembrance of Betty Musselman.

September 20, 2010, meeting, Rebecca Scott and Linda DeShazo were presented
with their new member certificates by Chapter President Shawn Martin.
On
October 23, 2010, several members of the Fredericksburg Chapter UDC attended
the Iron Cross Dedication in honor of Pvt. James Monroe Clift, Co.
I, 9th Regiment Virginia Cavalry.
