Reader Reactions to the Book Warrior's Way and the Fitness Program

Please note that I haven't just extracted Rah! Rah! Jazzy stuff to manipulate you. I've quoted enough for you to see that we're talking reality here, not pie-in-the-sky. We're just people like you trying to improve ourselves by using nature's way of fitness. I haven't said it would be easy......only that it would be worth it.

I know for a long time I’ve wondered if there was some “thing” or ability that other people did or possessed that I did not.....

I ordered a copy of Warrior's Way a while back and I am glad to tell you it's great! It works for me as long as I'm motivated. I would like to ask you just a few questions which did not have detailed answers in the Warrior's Way.

1. Can you tell me how to use the diaphragm breathing while I sleep. I can use it during the day, and when I lay down and fall asleep, I wake up with the mid-zone un-energized.

2. Will this system work with females also? (It does) I am male but was just curious about this....Thanks MR Joliet, Ill.

“I do feel stronger since I started patterning and taking (the supplement). I can’t say I’ve gained any size or weight but my uniform is looser around the waist.......”

"I enjoyed reading Warrior’s Way. It is an enthralling and informative book. The story has a compelling plot and was hard to put down. Your knowledge and research of the Navajo Indians was evident.”

I know for a long time I have wondered if there was some "thing" or "ability" that other people did or possessed that I did not. When I looked at other people there was something they could do like run fast or forever, or were extremely strong, but I could not figure out how they did it because they did not work out or train on regular intervals. I know of one case in which one of my best friends is so strong h can squat over 400 pounds, bench well over 200 and he has never lifted weights regularly....I know I have found the answer in Warrior's Way....You don't know how many ?'s this book will answer for me and how many problems it will solve for me...Thanks AG Fairmont NC

I enjoyed reading "Warrior's Walk". (It gets called that a lot because in the last analysis "power" walking builds the raw physical power into the body, burns fat, builds muscle, etc.) It is an enthralling and informative book. The story has a compelling plot and was difficult to put down. (Ah....music to my ears......) Your knowledge and research of the Navaho Indians was evident.

During my first week of patterning my muscles, I was exhausted by bedtime. My wife was quite annoyed that I was crawling into bed and falling asleep an hour or so before my normal bedtime. (Like I said, there are no short cuts or gimmicks. Those powerful people just get their exercise nature's way.) However, I just could not stay awake any longer. Is this normal when one is just starting? (It is if you don't ease your way into it, like with any "regular" exercise program.)

I do feel stronger since I started patterning and taking (the supplement). I can't say I've gained any size or weight, but my uniform is looser around the waist. Time will tell. (Read about the strength and athletic ability of Abraham Lincoln. He was the strongest man on the frontier and proved it in many fights. But he wasn't "massively muscular". Be aware that muscle size and raw physical power can be two different things. When he was shot about age 64 the doctors were amazed at the physical power still in his body.)

Once again, thank you for the book and for taking time to read my letter.  When Ben Singer has further adventures I would be delighted to know about them. PB Ft. Bragg, NC

“Your system came at just the right time for me because of several injuries I sustained about 6 months ago.....”

Dear Mr. Hansen

You are my hero" (Would I make up something like this? I'm not a hero, folks. The "system" is real, based in the truth and stands on its own merits. It needs no further help from me.) You just might have the system that will be the catalyst for a lifelong technique for staying in optimum shape. This letter is not really

overdue, as we have really wanted to write you, long before this, but decided to give it about 6 months. (Not a bad idea.) I am happy to report that for my purposes, it is just absolutely the best system I have engaged with since we started getting into the "fitness thing" about 25 years ago.

Your system came at just the right time for me because of several injuries I sustained about 6 months ago. Tendinitis in my right elbow area from wt. lifting and another grievous injury of what we think is a cartilaginous separation in the abdominal muscles just off the mid-line to the right that is still not completely healed.

(This is potentially serious, as you will see when you study Warrior's Way because the "abs" that are all the rage nowadays really do need to develop great power in holding the spine erect.) It makes it rather difficult to maintain an upright spine and simultaneously tense my mid-section to its full potential as you instructed. But I'm almost there. What little I have been able to do has still maintained a formed and defined abdominal area and waist which is a focus point for me. (And for many others. Notice that you can use parts and pieces of this "system" to good effect even if you are temporarily or permanently handicapped! Gentle, steady exercise 24 hours a day adds up to a low impact work out that is powerfully effective, even when you don't have full use of your body.

Your system has kept up and even increased my tone & strength during my austerity period of injury. The tendonitis is no longer a problem. I am stronger than ever on the pull-up bar. I have been able to do some light weight lifting... I attempt to maintain this technique as often and sustained as possible, but, man, it is difficult. (No wonder "natural" strong men can out perform weight lifters, huh? But think how strong this man will become as he does both.....) It's easy to "laze-out", especially sitting (lounging) and in bed. But the 60% of the daytime that I keep it up is a testament to its effectiveness.

Jon, this is "good stuff" and I thank you for your system. (Please remember folks, this system is not mine...it's just the "natural" way things were meant to be. Thank the Creator of us all.)

I've tried to turn people on to it, but they don't buy it. I think they just don't have the gumption and dedication it takes to maintain the system's form and technique. As soon as I'm completely healed I'm looking forward to attempt the 24hr. bit and make it as natural as beathing. This is on my mind all day and it is just, I think, the ultimate for the fitness.

Jon, again, thanks for the system....
