Camshaft For The 22RE

The following list of camshafts available for the Toyota 4-cylinder truck motors is provided as a service to Toyota truck owners interested in increasing the power in their trucks. It is not provided for the benefit any camshaft grinder, but instead for the user. This table is accurate to the best of my knowledge. Keep in mind that some grinders change their grinds from time to time. Downey and DOA have changed their grinds on more than one occasion. It is always best to check with the company before purchasing. Don't assume I've been able to keep up to date.

    In addition, the Downey Off-Road catalog was consulted, and the folks at Schneider Cams and Engnbldr.com were kind enough to provide their numbers. These sites should be visited to determine the best cam for your application as some sites contain more information. Note that spec's for the Crane and TRD levels 1-3 are the same. The Downey and DOA cams are also close, but Tim at DOA Racing tells me they are slightly different. Also, many of these numbers were converted from inches to millimeters and some precision was lost in the conversion.
