Geting to know us..............

Hello we are the Pater family and we're from Connecticut. My name is John. My wife is Ruth. We have two boys Bill and Dan and a crazy fun loving mutt named Onyx.

 

I make my own relishes, pasta and hot sauces from all of the great stuff growing in my garden.  I also like to  refinish wooden furniture. Ruth likes old black and white  movies or "film noir" from the '40's. Bill is into playing the guitar mostly the music I was into "back in the day". Stuff like Led Zepplin, Cream and the Doors.  Dan is into BMX bikes and helps me when it comes time to make all those sauces and relishes. He's pretty good at grilling on the old gas grill too. Look out Emeril, here comes Dan......BAM!

 

We're big Yankee fans, My dad took me to my 1st game when I was 7yrs. old.  I saw Mickey Mantle hit a "homer" and was hooked. For football I follow the Giants but the boys like the Patriots. If we don't get to Yankee stadium we have THREE minor league teams here that we go see, they're tomorrows future stars and play great ball.
