These are some images taken at my family farm north of Ashburn, Ga., in Turner County.

The large field, looking west from under a pecan tree.

Same field, looking east from behind the tractor shed.

The smaller, northern field, looking north.

The large field, again, looking back at the irrigation system pivot point.

The "pole barn," looking east from in front of the tractor shed.

The tractor shed.  Inside is a Massy-Ferguson 165 tractor.

The main entrance.  The gate is behind the camera and the road leads through these trees to the ponds and beyond.

This is one of the spots on which I'd like to build a house. It's just northwest of the north pond, looking northeast.

One of several stands of trees. This one is just east of the main road.

This is the well pump house, looking east. The grape vines on the right need pruning. This structure is between the two ponds, on a slight rise.

My daughter Kelsea picking grapes.

The Jeep Cherokee I drive when I'm in Georgia. My son Jeremy is in it, trying to keep cool.

Some grapes.

The northern pond, looking south. It's too low.

Northern pond, again, with the camera shifted slightly east from south.

The southern pond, looking south from the pump house. Too many trees blocking the view.

The southern pond again, showing the irrigation pump and the grasses that have sprung up.

The southern pond again, looking at its dam.
