How do you identify your primary photographic style?
Candid, classic documentary, photojournalistic style with wit and flare.
We want you to photograph our wedding, but we don't live in Georgia. Can you still photograph our event?
We love to travel and are available to shoot weddings anywhere on the planet. If you are getting married outside Georgia, don't let that keep you from using Pixelus Photography. We've shot weddings on both coasts and everywhere in between. For travel outside the area of Atlanta to Athens and Macon, we charge a reasonable fee to cover travel expenses.
Do you charge hourly or full day?
We can be available for the whole day or for whatever length of time it takes to tell the story of your day. Our packages have different options so you'll get exactly what you want. We don't place a limit on the amount of images we create. We can also be available for any pre-wedding events as well, such as a rehearsal dinner or family gathering the day before.
How many photographers do you work with?
Joshua Westbrook is the main photographer and works with an assistant. A second photographer can be added to any package we offer.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one wedding in a day?
We only book one wedding per day.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you are unable to make it to the event.
Yes, and we've never needed to rely on the replacement photographer.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Always.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
Our average is one week. Sometimes quicker, because we love to dazzle and amaze you.
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
Online proofing.
How long can the couple keep the proofs?
Once the wedding is complete, we give our clients a CD containing FULL resolution images of everything that was shot. This CD is theirs to keep. We encourage out clients to use the images on their blog or Facebook or to email to family and friends.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
We love it when clients want to share their photos with others. Most of the time there is no charge for this, but we do require a photo credit for print publications.
What kind of albums do you offer?
We are thrilled to offer wedding albums of the finest quality in the industry and is one of the things that set us apart from many other photographers. We use Cypress, Graphi Studio, and Forbeyon.
When will I get the final book?
Once the order has been placed, each album company's turn-around time is different and ranges from three to eight weeks.
Do you play the tuba?
Nope.
