Our gift to the Athens community is our live nativity, entitled Journey Through Christmas. Come on out to see this magnificent event this November and December.
Record Breaking Production Of Journey Through Christmas
This year's presentation of Journey was the best ever. Our Directors and Coordinators had many very capable cast and crew members. The weather cooperated, and the timing, although the same, worked better than in previous years. We were visited by 318 cars, 4 buses, and 1 van. We had a record number of cars on Sunday night, and had to open an extra (fourth) lane. We received $527 in unsolicited donations, and that was well received, since we exceeded our budget of $600 for police, llamas, food, and batteries. Our after-action and planning meeting for all Scene Directors, Activity Coordinators, and other interested persons will be on Sunday, January 20, at 5:00 PM. Thanks to all who helped in any way to bless and be blessed by this gift to the our neighbors of the Athens community.

Last weekend, my family and I had the great pleasure of driving through your outdoor presentation, Journey through Christmas. We are relatively new to Athens and had not been here for this blessed season previously.
Your presentation is a wonderful celebration of this grand season. It is so nice to have such a lovely tribute to the true meaning of Christmas!
We were all in awe of your presentation and the scenes you depict. The children were, of course, especially taken by the live animals. Thank you for touching the hearts and souls of so many people who have the privilege of attending your gift.

Thanks to our heavenly Father for another wonderful Journey through Christmas. Thanks to Marianne and John for all their work, for all those on scene and all who worked behind the scenes, for our pastor and family who helped so much. Thanks to those who helped in the kitchen during Journey through Christmas – Katherine Maddox, Mae Lee, Susan Field, Melinda Adams, Carolyn Dial, and Dianne Parr.
