United Methodist Women
The United Methodist Women of Princeton United Methodist Church meet every third Tuesday evening at 7:00 P. M. in the church fellowship hall.
Programs are given by members of the UMW or by invited guests from all over the Athens Community. Projects during the past few years have included: A Prayer Shawl Ministry, Support by contributions and volunteers for Interfaith Hospitality Network, Lanier Gardens, Food Bank, Journey Through Christmas, Homeless Children, Battered Women's Shelter, Nurses Clinic, Our Daily Bread and many more.
Our UMW is a loving, inclusive, and supportive organization with a focus on missions. We invite any and all to come and join us.
The purpose of United Methodist Women worldwide is:
-To know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through
Jesus Christ
-To develop a creative, supportive fellowship
-To expand concepts of mission through participation in the
global ministries of the church
With God's help we at Princeton strive to meet and support these purposes by ministering to the ones that Our Lord sends to us.

We Are Busy
We are involved in many projects including the UMW reading program, plans for a new Princeton cookbook, designing note cards with art work from children in Brazil, knitting and crocheting more prayer shawls, as well as the many supportive things we do within the Princeton Church. All women of the church are invited to come to our meetings.
