• Black History Month Web site: Along with another co-worker, I created a Web site devoted to Black History Month. The project started out as an idea to do something to supplement the print coverage for Black History Month. The project quickly grabbed my interest as I began finding many things to put on the site and I spent time both in and out of the office researching facts, writing biographies and creating an online quiz for the section. I was recognized with a "Hats Off" award for work on the special site.

• World's Fair Section: Updated content on a special section devoted to the 20th Anniversary of the 1982 World's Fair.

• Bearfoot in the City: Created a mini-site in frames to display information and pictures about the painted bears found throughout Knoxville as part of the Bearfoot in the City Project

• Valentine's Celebration: Created a Valentine's site that includes tips, recipes, games, crafts, themed wallpaper and more for viewers to enjoy around Valentine's Day.

• The News Sentinel's new building: I took iPix 360-degree photos of the News Sentinel's new facility from the start of construction to after the staff was settled in the new building. The images were later used as part of a larger site that was built to correspond with the News Sentinel's open house in the new facility.
