From here in Altadena, CA the Games have been wonderful to watch. Some disappointments and some surprises. It's hard to watch the news because they tell you the results before the Games come on in Prime Time.

Comments:: Kathy, thanks for the updates. The computer is so far behind in giving results, it's ridiculous. I got up at 5:30 to see if the race was telvised and since it wasn't I got on the computer. They had nothing! It is now 8:30 and they still have nothing. I did see that Kara wasn't going to swim in the prelim. Save your best for last, that's the way to do it!
I'm glad you're having such a wonderful time seeing the sights, they sound fabulous. But they will be nothing compared to the sight of Kara walking in representing the United States! He even told me that he's going to get up at 5:42AM on Saturday to watch the relay! It's truly amazing how many people are cheering for you. Enjoy yourself, stay focused and do your best.
