Artist Comments:

My recent non-objective work begins with a thought, or intuition, before touching paint to paper or canvas. I allow multiple layers of collage and/or acrylics to create my composition. In opposition to my earlier training, I am creating from the inside out, using a limited palette of colors. I mentally process division of space and shapes. The left-brain connects with the right to complete a design using balance and design principles.
