We do consider Unsolicited manuscripts inquiries. Please send a 10 pages of poetry submission. Please include a valid email address where you would like to be contacted regarding the submission. Please send your inquiry, a current bio, and include the PayPal Transaction ID of your reciept in the email to dreamhorsepress@yahoo.com

Dream Horse Press Manuscript Consultation
Dream Horse Press offers in-depth manuscript review and advice. J. P. Dancing Bear (Editor of the American Poetry Journal and Dream Horse Press, click here for brief bio) and C. J. Sage (Editor of The National Poetry Review and The National Poetry Review Press, click here for bio), will provide specific, individualized comments and suggestions on poetry manuscripts of up to 60 pages. Manuscripts submitted for this service will automatically be considered for publication outside the DHP/APJ/TNPRP contest modules. To submit, please send TWO copies of your manuscript in a 12 point font, with bio, acknowledgments, and publication history, along with a sufficient SASE for return of those two copies, and check or money order for $500, payable to Dream Horse Press. The postmark deadline for entries to the 2013
Orphic Prize for Poetry is October 31, 2013 (because mail it takes 5 days from the postmark deadline for entries to
arrive, the electronic deadline is November 5th, 2013). To enter, submit 48-80 paginated pages of poetry, table of contents,
acknowledgments, bio, email address for results (No SASE; manuscripts
will be recycled), and a $27.00 non-refundable fee for each manuscript entered. The winner
is awarded $1000 and publication, plus 20 author copies. All entries will be considered
for publication.All styles are welcome. Multiple submissions are acceptable. Simultaneous
submissions are acceptable, but if your manuscript is accepted for publication elsewhere
you must notify Dream Horse Press
immediately. Fees are non-refundable. Judging will be anonymous; writers' names should not
appear anywhere on the manuscript. Please include your name and biographical information
in a separate cover letter. Please be sure to include your email address. The
winner is chosen by the owner, J.P. Dancing Bear. Close friends, students (former
or present), and relatives of the the press owner are NOT eligible for the contest; their
entry fees will be refunded.
