Paris has some of the finest artwork anywhere and I've been to Amsterdam, Madrid, Florence, Rome, and London. There is the Louver with artwork from ancient Greece and Egypt (by the way the French are giving a lot back and replacing it with imitations) to the 1800's. There is the Rodan museum featuring a sculpture on par with Michelangelo. There is the Orsay and the Pompidou (in a building that left its insides on the outside).

   Paris has other sites as well. Notre Dame , The Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triumph are the most well know however the Sainte Chapel and Conciegerie, Les Invaldes (Napoleons tomb and war museum) and the Latin Quarter are all worth a look. And then there is the Paris that tourists do not see. Neat little neighborhoods that erupt with flavor. IT took me five years and three trips through France but I've finally seen this great city. From that visit I learned a great many things. The most important thing I learned is I would have to go back for a longer stay in Paris!
