Les Invaldes
Les Invaldes Information Les Invaldes Photographs
The Site in Paris known as Les Invaldes is technically Napoleon's tomb and the army museum, however most people know it is Napoleon's Tomb. Les Invaldes is a very impressive structure which was built t honor Napoleon and the French war dead.

I guess in the end, the French decided they really did like Napoleon. Therefore, the French built Napoleon a grand Mausoleum to house his remains as well as the remains of Napoleon's son and Napoleon's brothers. Over time other great French generals have been intombed here.

Napoleon's tomb is a very imposing structure with a very elegant interior . The only part of the army museum I visited was the world war two section, which did a very good job of outlining the progression, history, and horrors of World War II.

I hope you enjoy the photos. Any comments, please E-mail me, .
