Martigny
Martigny InformationMartigny Photos

Martigny is a small, industrial town in the Swiss Alps.  However, the town dates back to the time of the Roman Empire.  During the Roman Empire, this was a resting point on a major road from Rome up through to what is now France.  In fact you can still see the road in places, though I decided not to take a picture of the road.  The Town still boasts some Roman ruins that have been uncovered this century, and they are in fairly good condition. The coliseum is used today for plays and other theatrics.
