Steering - replace or rebuild
- looking for another gear box

Fuel
- fix fuel gauge sender - replace, rewire?
- find fuel leak!

Wiring - long term, continuing project
- Doing it wire-by-wire as I fix things rather than a complete wiring harness project
- many bare spots in cloth covered wire
- many poor, sloppy splices
- mostly done under the hood and to the taillights
- still need to redo behind the dash

Tachomter - install
- this is the tach I put in my '70 VW camper - it's been on the shelf since 1983

Battery tray - rusted - replace

Overdrive
Bought a Saturn type from Herm, the Overdrive Guy
Not installed yet - clean up transfer case while doing it - new gaskets, etc.

Spare tire & mount
- this will be the most difficult
- I'd rather not mount the tire on the side as original
- And I don't want it on the tailgate either
- Think I'll bolt it into the bed for off-roading
- I'll carry a can of FlatFix for around town

Need a roll bar - probably have to make one.

Repare emergency brake - don't know what's needed yet

Need tow hooks

Minor

Brake lines - need to strap them down
Heater/Defroster
- replace/repair/reposition switches
- replace defroster ducts with original configuration if Herm ever makes some more
Bestop
- replace broken couplers on door posts
- clips that index in holes on the main bow need bent in more - locked with hose clamps for now

Find all fluid leaks - stop 'em
