The Mystery Whistle
A small toy whistle on the end of a string suddenly begins to sound. It can be used to answer questions, by whistling once for "yes" and twice for "no".
The Secret:
The audience never suspects that the magician has a whistle concealed in each arm. A small tube connects the hidden whistle to a hollow rubber ball, causing the whistle to sound.
People are much worse at detecting the source of a sound than they might believe. The audience will honestly feel they hear the sound coming from the whistle on the string.
