Venus 2005-2006

Venus is most easily imaged during the day when it's either near or on the meridian and at its highest.  This is especially important during 2005 because it's low in the sky for Northern observers.  I generally use an ND 2 filter to tame the bright daytime sky and then image with my ST-402. Each image is 1' X 1' in size until venus reached 1 arc minute and then each image is 1.5' X 1.5'.
