Northern Fairfax CCT Fatass Trail Marathon

SUNDAY, MARCH 2, 2008, 8:00 A.M. Start / Finish at Riverbend Park.

26 Miles Out-And-Back on the northern part of the Fairfax County Cross-County Trail
and the Great Falls Trail System, starting and finishing at Riverbend Park.
A friendly, self-supported training run.

Directions to Riverbend Park
8700 Potomac Hills Street, Great Falls, VA. From the Beltway (495), take exit 13 (Georgetown Pike, Route 193) west for 4.5 miles to a right on River Bend Rd. (just past entrance to Great Falls Park). Go for 2 miles on River Bend Rd. to a right on Jeffery Rd. Proceed 1 mile to the Visitor Center entrance. The gates should be open by 7:00 a.m. Go into the park, bear right towards the Boat Ramp, and park at the end of the parking lot past the boat spaces.
