2009 CCT
March 15, 2009.  Very nice weather at 35 and drizzly.  

The course: starting at Riverbend, out to the Glade Rd. turnaround, and back to Riverbend.

David Snipes took the win in dominating fashion.  After he, Ed and Ernesto stopped to relax by the "End of Difficult Run Beach" at mile 4, they realized they would be the leaders today, with Alisa possibly claiming first woman.  During the beach outing, Anstr, Caroline and Lucia passed by but were caught for good by Snipes and company near the Difficult Run parking lot. Snipes (a.k.a. Sniper) soon pulled away from Ernesto and the always cheerful Ed.

Caroline made a major directional gaffe due to a hidden trail sign on the W&OD trail and proceeded to go a few miles out of the way before turning back.

Ernesto was slowed by a large quantity of picture taking on the way back through Great Falls, while Ed and Alisa returned close together. Following in very good form were all the rest of today's runners.
