Places to Play Pinball

This section of my website has undergone a major re-write to improve my ability to keep the information up to date.   I've abandoned the previous formatting and changed over to a Microsoft Access generated report which can be easily uploaded to the website.  The new auto generated format is a multi-page report.  All entries are listed in an alphabetical order by a State, City, and Venue hierarchy.  Use the "First",  "Previous","Next", and "Last" hyperlinks on the bottom of each page to navigate the report.

Pinball Machines in the Pacific Northwest:

I live and work in Pacific Northwest and Alaska.  Outside of my personal collection of pinball machines I have at home,  this is the region where I play the most pinball.  The information about machines in this area will be the most accurate and up to date.   I travel around the region for work quite a bit  so you will find listings for machines that I stumble across in my travels. None of these sightings should be considered as an exhaustive, or even a partial list of what machines may be available in that area.  These are just the ones I have come across. I would love to hear about other pinball machine that I don't already have listed in these areas . Please email me with any sightings that you are willing to pass on. j sharrard @ comcast. net. The World Pinball Directory is a terrific source for finding pinball machines to play throughout the planet.  http://www.daveland.com/pinball/index2.html

Game:

The pinball game manufacturer and the year it was produced will be listed in the tables whenever I have the information.
 The manufacturer(s) key is as follows:

bulletBLY = Bally or BLY/WMS for games released after merger with WMS
bulletCAP = CapCom
bulletDE = Data East
bulletGTB = Gottlieb (or Premier or Mylstar,etc)
bulletSEG = Sega
bulletSTN = Stern
bulletWMS = Williams

Condition:

The condition of each pinball machine is listed on a scale of 1(bad)-5(good).  This rating system is my own and is detailed as follows:

bullet5 = Machine is in excellent condition.  All functions are working, machine is properly leveled and pitched, flipper action is strong and consistent,  all playfield rubbers are clean and fresh, playfield is cleaned and waxed.
bullet4 = Machine is in good playing condition.  No problems that effect overall game play are allowed.  A few functional problems that do not affect game play are allowed (general illumination lights burned out, maybe a minor playfield switch is not working,etc).  Playfield rubber should still show some liveliness .  Playfield should have been periodically cleaned.  Flippers should still be strong and consistent. Machine should be properly leveled and pitched.
bullet3 = Machine is in fair playing condition.   Some functionality problems may exist as long as they don't interfere with the enjoyment of playing the game. Playfield rubber should be intact and show some signs of elasticity.  Flippers need to have enough power to reach all targets and ramps as needed.  Playfield can have some grime and minor wear spots.   A level 3 machine is in the lowest condition that a pinball afficianado would consider playing.
bullet2 = Machine is in poor operating condition.  Functionality faults that affect play are present.  Flippers are too weak to reach ramps and targets.  Playfield rubbers are dirty and cracking.  Playfield is dirty and worn.  Don't bother to play a level 2 machine.
bullet1 = Machine is dead.  Refuses to complete power-up properly.  Call an ambulance.

Date Last Verified:

Date of the last time I visited a location and noted a change in available pinball games or in their condition.
