Hypnosis is a process of being guided into a relaxed state where you can access your subconscious mind and change the patterns and programming there. You can overcome habits like smoking and overeating. You can stop drug addictions, change your metabolism, stop pain, and heal trauma using hypnosis. Most of the patterns in our life are embedded in our subconscious mind. It is often difficult to change them from the conscious level of processing, so hypnosis and other approaches such as NLP and energy psychology techniques like EFT, Psych-K, & NMT may be much more rapid ways of fostering change than ordinary counseling or therapy approaches. Hypnotherapy is usually a relaxing process and can even foster healing of pains and physical conditions. Hypnosis is well-documented to be effective for addressing many health issues and has been practiced for many decades in modern medicine and psychiatry, as well as having been employed in some manner for hundreds or thousands of years in a number of cultures around the world. As a mental health counselor with a Master's degree from the University Of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida, I initially trained in hypnotherapy in 2001 with Harry Henshaw in North Miami Beach. Harry is a relaxation and healing music professional as well. This coursework included NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) and the work of people like Richard Bandler. Bandler, Grinder, Tony Robbins, and other NLP pioneers have combined hypnosis methods with recognition of how people process information with their sensory modalities and how we build rapport with those we interact with and create states where we can influence others. Prior to training in hypnosis I had begun to attend experiential workshops with past-life regression practitioners such as Linda Adler (a former client and student of Dr. Brian Weiss), and I soon began to read and study everything I could on this subject, including audios from the Edgar Cayce organization (A.R.E.) the modern Essenes, Dick Sutphen, Roger Woolger, Brian Weiss, Carol Bowman, and others. As a trained counselor and experienced reiki pracitioner and meditator, this process seemed very natural to me... and it is not essentially different from doing standard regression within the current lifetime as regular hypnosis instruction teaches - the therapist just needs to have an open mind about what can be accessed and transformed.
I offer individual and group hypnosis sessions, and guide you toward accessing your own inner guidance and wisdom and offer affirmations and verbal guidance to help you make shifts in your life and release old patterns and blocks. As a counselor I am honored to help facilitate this with those who seek my assistance, and I honor each of you on your healing journey.
