Overview
Ok – so this is written for the Halloween challenge posted in the Ladycops LJ and the N & N BB. I kinda went… a bit AU with this and a little more out there as this gets into things maybe a little more suited for X-Files and Fringe –
So, I am always playing with my writing styles as well as exploring a story idea. For this one, I combed the websites dealing with writing a script/screenplay/story with the Three Act Structure. I'm listing a few sites and also, the act titles are a sly wink at the general names for Acts in this structure as well as throwing in some sly references to parts of a story :P yes I am a geek, or maybe more of nerd, - check this little fun thing out and decide for yourself ;-)

I also chose this style and have broken it down almost mechanically in that it helps give a flavor to the story in terms of the science angle; science is an orderly process based on methods and procedures and categorizing, so I decided to try and translate that structure and rigid order with a walk through the structured III Act style - yes I am well-weird And to be fair - not everyone believes in the three act structure –

Lastly there is music offered to add to the ambiance and mood setting. The song overall for this story and honestly, IMO, Nikki and Nora's relationship in general is "Spiritual Virginity" by Amber. Yes I see Nikki as having taken Nora's SV, especially with this story hehe. I love the song's opening and thus have added it, I see the opening as it is in the song voicing over as the story starts. And in addition I offer a couple of songs per act, kinda breaking the songs based on the substructure of an Act. As such, the music would act as the bridge, as the noise under the dialogue and all, just as in a TV show. The lyrics and melodies also tie into the overall story.
